JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for food preparation and general kitchen sanitation. Must have basic knowledge of kitchen equipment including knife handling. Responsible for maintaining a clean cooking and working area.
DUTIES
- Ensure food meets food safety and quality standards to eliminate cross-contamination on the front line
- Prep all cold and hot food items
- Follow proper knife safety procedures
- Operate oven and hot prep equipment, ensure proper time/temp of all hot and cooked foods
- Operate prep equipment
- Maintain clean, food-safe dish and prep stations throughout shift
- Maintain communication with Service Team Members and other Kitchen staff members
