Wisconsin Dells is the Waterpark Capital of the world!  It’s also home to wineries, winding rivers, and vast forests.  There are hundreds of outdoor activities to choose from, ranging from athletic and adventurous to quiet and relaxing.  Zip lining, hiking, river rafting, birdwatching, scenic tours, and getting a tan – enjoy everything the outdoors has to offer!  Plus, there are plenty of restaurants and events that draw locals and tourists alike.



Lifeguards are responsible for monitoring the well-being of guests, ensuring their safety by preventing and responding to emergency situations both in and out of water. Should an emergency occur, lifeguards are responsible for taking quick and decisive action and providing the appropriate emergency care.



Interact with guests in a friendly and welcoming manner. – Provide exceptional guest service in order to enhance the guest experience in the water park. – Provide general assistance to guests, including answering questions about the resort, pools, rides and attractions. – Monitoring the well-being of guests and responding to emergency situations both in and out of water. Includes providing emergency first aid as necessary. – Enforcing established rules, complying with regulations, and maintaining professional lifeguarding practices. – Maintaining a constant alertness to what our hundreds of guests are doing, preventing accidents and assisting swimmers in distress. Should an emergency occur, Waterpark Attendants are responsible for taking quick and decisive action and providing emergency care. – Throughout their shift, Waterpark Attendants are also expected to play an important role in keeping the resort clean and comfortable. – All of these important responsibilities must be fulfilled while working either inside in a humid environment or outside in the elements – heat, humidity, rain, and wind. Long periods of standing are required. – Advises waterpark management of unsafe and unsanitary conditions. – Possesses a general knowledge of the waterpark pools and attractions.



-Lifeguards will make $8.50/hour while training; once lifeguard class is completed, wage will be according to level of guard participant is working:
  • Shallow Water Lifeguard $10/hour
  • Deep Water Lifeguard $10.20/hour
  • Deep Water with Waves Lifeguard $10.40/hour
  • Hours may be reduced during training and in the instance of inclement weather.
-Must swim 200 meters without stopping and dive 3 meters down and retrieve an object (no weight minimum).
– Must sit or stand for extended periods of time.
– You will be working in a humid, warm environment and be immersed in water for extended periods of time.
– Position requires the ability to lift, push, and pull at least 50 lbs and up to 100 lbs.
– Climb multiple flights of stairs.
